About us:

AppalachianFolk UK exists to bring authentic, high quality performances to our audiences a few times each year.

Our focus is on Appalachian Old Time music performed within an intimate environment.  We aim to keep the use of PA to a minimum so that you may experience the subtlety of this musical genre just as much as its energy and drive.

Our main venue is a charming function room within an historic town pub.  This was chosen due to the excellent acoustics of the space (regularly used by folk clubs), which is away from bar noise but still close enough to sample some of the superb local ales on tap!  Good food is also available at most times. 

We enjoy collaborating with others to bring you outstanding musicial performances at different nearby venues.  We also have connections in West Cornwall, offering similar authentic performances in this beautifully rugged coastal region.
