WHAT's Happening?
Following the success of our recent Rachel Eddy solo concert, we plan to host further quality performances on an occasional basis.
Our focus is on Appalachian old time music performed within an intimate environment. We aim to keep the use of PA to a minimum so that you may experience the subtle tonal qualities of this musical genre just as much as its energy and drive. Our venue is a charming function room within an historic town pub. This was chosen due to the excellent acoustics of the space (regularly used by folk clubs), which is away from bar noise but still close enough to sample some of the superb local ales on tap! Good food is also available at most times. |
